5 weeks old

Last week Annabelle had her one month appointment. She's doing well and weights 8 pounds already. She's starting to roll over to one side, and is making a lot of new sounds. She's becoming more alert, and she's able to follow us around the room with her eyes.

John's started a tradition of playing an old record from the Muppet Movie when he changes her diaper. Annabelle really calms down when he sings Rainbow Connection to her, and she likes to watch him dance around to Movin' Right Along. She also likes to suck on his nose.

My Mom has been staying with us since we brought Annabelle home from the hospital. She's been a huge help, and we're all going to miss her when she leaves this week.
