Easter Sunday with Bep

Annabelle was thrilled that "Bop" came for a visit this past week. On Sunday Annabelle went in church with us since the nursery was closed. I think she loved hearing all the music, especially the trumpets and timpani. After the first big choral number she cheered. After church we had a lovely brunch with friends, and Annabelle got to do an egg hunt with Owen, who she is always excited to see.

I love our little street. It's perfect for going on walks with Annabelle. She has certain places she always likes to stop- to play with rocks, watch birds and squirrels eat at a bird feeder, and look at the fish in the pond in one of our neighbors' front yards.

Over the past few months we've been slowly getting Annabelle's room together. I finally got some shelves to organize her toys. I had to take a picture of everything in its place because it stays this way for about 5 minutes before everything gets scattered.

A few weeks ago we moved Annabelle into her own room, and into her own big bed. She's going to use my old day bed, but John's painting the frame, so for now she's sleeping on the trundle. It's been a great transition because it's pretty much as low to the floor as a mattress can get, so Annabelle can hop right on easily. The first night she was so excited she was hopping all over the place. She's been sleeping well- she's positioned her stuffed animals on either side of her pillow to keep her company.

I finally found the picture in the rain I was looking for. The last couple of days have been bright and sunny though! Annabelle has been enjoying getting to play outside more. Right now she's out on a bike ride with John.
