When John went to Arkansas a couple of weeks ago, he did a lot of shopping with his Mom at antique malls- something we don't have much of around here. Here are a few of the many wonderful things John brought back from his trip (although not all of them are from the antique stores).

This year for Thanksgiving we stayed in town, made a turkey, and had a few friends over. Today John, Mike, and I are going thrift store shopping to look for more treasures and to walk off the turkey.

I finally got the new Dixie Chicks cd. I realy like it... Easy Silence is my current favorite.

Vacation

Last Wednesday John went to Arkansas to go to a wedding and to visit family. My Mom came out from South Dakota on the same day, and I took off a long weekend from work. We took the train up to San Francisco and spent a couple days up there. We took buses out exploring, went shopping in Union Square and Chinatown, and got to see some parts of the city that I hadn't seen. We had a lot of fun.
