Yes, that is a bucket on her head. Annabelle took her regular sun hat off and put the bucket on instead. Now if we could only find a hat she likes wearing as much. As for the tricycle, she jumped right on it when I brought it home and we went for a spin around the neighborhood. She can't quite pedal yet, but I'm sure it won't be long.

Last weekend was really hot, so we finally got around to getting a pool for the backyard. I found one big enough for me or John to swim with her, and I had a lot of fun getting it to fit in the Beetle to take home. Annabelle had a lot of fun splashing around.

This weekend we did a lot of work getting the backyard ready for summer. We planted a row of tomatoes and several herbs. We also replanted a few lillies from the back of the yard to the front. Annabelle loved every minute of it.
