March Birthdays

Last week was my birthday, and Bridget came out for a visit. She and Annabelle had a lot of fun getting reaquainted.




And Annabelle loved playing with the fabric toys Bridget made her (thanks again Bridget!)



And John made us lots of delicious food... including crepes...


Since Bridget's birthday is also in March, we had a big 60th birthday party to celebrate us both turning 30. I didn't get pictures of that, but here's some of the yummy cake Bridget made...

We've been enjoying the warm weather- yesterday we got to spend some time with Annabelle in the yard. The nectarine trees are starting to blossom and a new calla lily plant has shown up along the back fence. But the vegetable patch has been completely overtaken with clover, and although it's pretty right now with the yellow flowers. it's going to be a lot of work to clear out. I think we're going to have to rent a tiller once we're ready to plant (which I hope is soon!).
