nick and rena's visit

My brother Nick is engaged! He and his fiancee Rena came up for a visit the other weekend. We had a nice, relaxing weekend hanging around the house, cooking, eating, and talking about wedding plans.

The other day Annabelle brought her espresso machine into the kitchen to make coffee while John was cooking. I was trying to get a picture of her, but instead she took the phone and took this picture.

three kings day

A few weeks ago we went to the children's museum when they were celebrating Three Kings Day. Annabelle got to make a crown, which turned out to be the perfect viewfinder for watching the airplanes that fly close over downtown.
