Annabelle had her 6 month appointment last week and weighed in at 14lbs. She's getting stronger by the day and is getting better at being able to sit on her own. She's more interested in standing than crawling, and grabs everything within arms reach. She also has a few teeth coming in. Running her hands under running water seems to take her mind off the pain.

I think Annabelle is experiencing the difference of having filet mignon and cereal in the baby world.
How did you come up with letting her play in water to take her mind off of teething pain? Smart move. Wonder if it would work for adults?
We noticed that whenever we had the water running (usually to get hot water to warm bottles) it would get her attention. Now whenever we're holding her near the sink and we turn the water on, her arms immediately stretch out towards the water :-)
Was she unhappy, or just sort of confused?
I think she was mostly confused ;-)
